Alpha Commandos

Alpha Commandos are buffed that affect the battles in combination with the renegades.

The Alpha Commandos are divided into different strategic teams, which must be unlocked via alpha commando tech. The Teams can be used once they’re unlocked. During deployment, the teams provide various buffs, and leaders can use these buffs to alter battle situations. Together with Alpha Commandos you can also equip Strategic Devices and Demolition Charge.

They can be upgraded and unlocked in the Strategy Base.

To develop and unlock it, click on the Alpha Commando Tech (in the corner at the bottom)

To unlock Commando skills, develop these three skills.

The Alpha Commandos are led by renegades, and the buffs are only effective if the renegade is in the ops and equipped with the alpha commandos.

Each ops can only carry one set of alpha commandos, and when multiple ops are deployed simultaneously, the alpha commandos carried by each team must be different.

You can select what alpha commandos you want to use in a battle by clicking on the small circle near the renegades (but you have to have them unlocked first).

Alpha commandos tech can increase the power of ops with alpha commandos. Only battle-related tech is effective when carrying the alpha commandos, while other development tech can be effective without the alpha commandos.

The alpha commandos can be upgraded and increasing their level can provide greater buffs. The strategic device feature is a unique extra system for the alpha commandos. Equipping the strategic device can also boost alpha commandos’ power.

You can get strategic devices in the tactical airdrop lottery (price is ~10€ for 2 lottery coupons [date: Mar 2025])

Demolition Charge

To equip demolition charge, you have to unlock it in Alpha Commando Tech first.

A list of effects you can get from demolition charge gear. If a certain tier has the same skill as lower tiers, that means you can get a higher percentage boost/buff/debuff.

Start saving Hitman coins so you can unlock 3rd and 4th emblem slots for leader equipment and Godfather collection items. It costs around 200k hitman coins to unlock 3rd and 4th emblem slots for Godfather collection items alone (if not more).

You can earn hitman coins by defeating mercenaries, with Hitman Hotels, Hitman Resort, and by doing daily projects (Hitman Market task).

The most obvious way to increase stats is vigilantes. They offer immediate stats increase and it feels great. The thing about vigilantes is that the stats’ increment is fixed. This is where babes come in. Babes might at first glance seem weaker than vigilantes but you can improve their skills and stats will grow fast. To sum it up, if you have a chance to either buy/get a babe or vigilante, choose babe (“pick babe, choose babe, love babe” ~ Meredith, Grey’s anatomy).

Babe Diana is very important for turf defense. Her first skill when maxed out offers a 440% weapon damage increase.

If you are a player who does a lot of events such as CR, CoM, CP, Vigilante Arena, and Family Treasure, then you should know about this too. Your stats in these events are affected by vigilante’s stats too, so you have to increase them as well.

You can increase them by leveling up your vigilante and with Vigilante’s investments in Investment Agency.

Vigilantes also offer passive and active effects. Passive effects are effects they give you by just having them, active effects require vigilantes to be either garrisoned or leading the ops. To unlock their effects you must unlock the corresponding star. These effects (that are unlocked with stars) are available in all battles (except when it’s said otherwise – eg. “when defending a turf”).

Vehicles and leader equipment

Vehicle armament is very important too. Don’t go directly for gold armament as it takes a very long time and you will have lower stats until then. Go in steps. Purple – Orange – Gold.

If you roll orange or gold armament, feel free to equip it. Start with purple armaments and keep saving the rest so you can enhance them. Always start with enhancing the highest tier one.

So select purple and enhance it to orange, and select orange and enhance it to gold. That way you will need fewer points for enhancement. When it comes to premium armament, stick with the same pool because of the sets. It’s better to have two Draco Fury armaments than one Draco Fury and one Ghastly.

Points required to enhance from the previous tier

Purple to Orange: 1,440 points
Orange to Gold: 11,760 points

Leader equipment is a similar story. Start with Purple or Orange and then through the time when you gather enough gems, work up to gold. Never exchange gems for items if you have less than a 100% chance of the desired tier. If you want to get a gold item, the success rate for the gold tier must be 100% – or you (very likely) won’t get it. When it comes to emblems, do not focus only on attack stats. Defense and health are very important too. It is advised to have different equipment sets. One focused on stats while others are focused on resources (production/gathering) and training troops.

Mercenaries play an important role in leader equipment as well. Mercenaries drop blueprint fragments which are used to build blueprints (100 fragments = 1 blueprint). These blueprints are required for higher-level equipment (Lv 43 leader equipment).

Family Research & Reputation

Family Combat increases attack, defense, and health stats. But you have to invest in them wisely. Get one family, and try to bring its reputation to Friendly II at least, so you can unlock their babe. In the meantime, you can invest in all families, not only the family you currently belong to. If you have a lot of family coins, don’t invest them all over the place but stick with one family, one category as stat increments grow bigger and bigger.

If you don’t have that many family coins, I recommend a more horizontal approach. You train level by level in each family.

When switching between families, buffs gained from Family Resort are switched too meanwhile, buffs gained from investments in Family Business Agency stay.

Switching between families requires Family Contract. You get some of them for free. The rest you can buy with real money or in Family Resort – Associate Store (1 contract costs 800.000 family points).

Unlock Mercenary IV (more about mercenaries) as soon as possible because they offer you the best rewards and you will need those rewards to improve your stats faster. (higher drop rate for car armament raffle). Work on Advanced Arms – it improves your attack stats, faster troops training, and increases your overkill stat (how many wounded troops are changed to killed when attacking).

If you have a renegade (you should have it, if it’s unlocked), work on Renegades too.

Renegades’ technique and strength improve how much damage renegades can deal. Physique and Protection improve renegades defense.

A very important investment is also crew upkeep reduction (in the Criminal Enterprise category). More about that in Troops’ upkeep.
